Yah's Way

As a Ministry couple with a passion for marriage counseling, premarital counseling, and Christian enrichment seminars, we understand the importance of fostering strong relationships that will enable strong families grounded in the faith of Jesus Christ.

Located in the heart of Manchester, Jamaica, New Beginnings Yah’s Way was sent by God to answer the prayers of people across Jamaica and the world at large. Specializing in intimacy with God- and by extension healthy relationships with those who desire it, NBYW creates a safe space for people to come heavy burdened and leave in freedom in the name of Jesus.

Nigel and Nicole met and got married quite young. They courted for 3 years before marriage. Interestingly, they both surrenders their lives to God at a conference and were baptized shortly after on the same day. They have been best friends throughout the years and navigated through the early years of marriage and their Christian walk achieving milestones together; they received the gift of tongues together, they attended Bible School and graduated together. By the grace of God they were able to conquer many difficult seasons.

Five years into marriage gave birth to Nathaniel their first born and 2 years later Natalia, their daughter was born. God kept them, as Nigel was transferred through work, to Barbados for almost 3 years with a young family to live. Returning to Jamaica they resume attendance at their previous congregation where they were ordained as Elders. There they served in various capacities, headed the Benevolence Ministry for about five years whilst also Leaders of the Kingdom Couples Ministry.

This was training ground as here they spear headed many couples engagements aimed at strengthen marriages. Nicole, a trained Christian Counselor offered counseling to couples as needed. They were known for hosting very impactful, marriage transforming annual couples retreats. Today, this has lead them to their current assignment from God to facilitate an even greater vision to not only enrich marriages but also to the whole family by Gods grace.

New Beginnings Yah’s Way was birthed out of a season of prayer and seeking the Lord, as also many prophetic words were released over them throughout the years that confirmed what they were now hearing from God.

The Visionaries

  • Founder

    Dr. Nicole Holness is a devoted Christian and was apart of a rich fellowship for over 25 years. She served alongside her husband as Pastors.

    Nicole has been married for over 28 years and enjoys the company of her two children Nathaniel and Natalia, alongside her husband Nigel who shares the responsibility with her to replicate of their own kind, developing Kingdom children relevant for transforming today's society.

    God has now afforded Nicole the opportunity to Minister full-time, a job which she enjoys. She has ministered at The Professional Development Institute (Girls Town) and serves the local community and the church body in counseling and mentorship of youth and young adults: counseling of adults, marriages and pre-marital couples and nurturing of the body at large.

  • Co-Founder

    Mr Nigel Holness is an ordained pastor and elder, passionate about God's business. He has been married for 28 years to the love of his life, Nicole Holness and has 2 children.

    He is the managing director of an international bank. He served three years as the President of the Jamaica Bankers Association and has a MBA in Banking and is a Chartered Banker.

  • Natalia Holness is an Early Childhood teacher at one of the leading Christian Academies in Jamaica. Holding a Bachelor degree and is pursuing her Master in Special Education. An ardent lover of children.

    She is a song writer and a gospel artist.

    She is the host, producer and editor of a weekly Christian Youth-centered radio ministry.

    Natalia has been serving Jesus Christ since age 5 years and loves the Lord passionately. She is an active member of her congregation where she serves in the Young Adult Ministry, Social media team and a member of the Praise and Worship Team.

    Her hobbies are reading, singing and painting.

Pastor Nicole Holness is one of the most welcoming people I know. Very approachable and always willing to give a listening ear. I met Pastors Nigel and Nicole Holness some years ago and they continue to demonstrate what marriage YAH's Way looks like. I have been on a few couples retreats with them at the helm, and it is evident that helping couples to live a purpose-filled life is near and dear to their hearts.

On a more personal note, I have benefitted from Pastor Nicole's professionalism. She is no farther than a call away...always ready for a heart-to-heart discussion with a goal to help mend what has been broken through the leading of the Holy Spirit. One of the things I like about Pastor Nicole is that she is down-to-earth yet professional at the same time. Many a times our meeting place is in the car park when she is about to leave, yet she never seems rushed or bothered that I didn't make an appointment. Her calm and professional demeanor sets the tone as she allows the Holy Spirit to speak through her while meeting you at your level.

I believe "New Beginnings YAH's Way" will be a haven for Christians who are looking for a resort that is GOD Centred. A place where they will feel restored, refreshed, and renewed.
